First Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony (April 29th, 2007)
The Senshoji Temple’s first anniversary commemorative ceremony was conducted together with Risshu-e Ceremony (Celebration of the declaration of True Buddhism).
Prior to welcome this auspicious events, alter platform at Hondo (main hall) is refurnished and at the back of the Hondo a memorial exhibition which shows the history of temple and chapter made by Hokkeko believers of Sneshoji Temple was set up.
The ceremony proceeded with Chief Priest Rev. Nishida conducted Kenzen, recitation of sutra and Daimoku.
Next we have move to ceremony part and in this part there were chorus from Senshoji Canary Chorus, sharing of progress report, experience and determination, readings Gosho by children and by English translation, address by Koto (head of believers), congratulatory address from guest and finally there was a word of appreciation to believers from chief priest. The ceremony ended smoothly.
Also, the ceremony was broadcasted
simultaneously between Hondo and Kyakuden (reception hall) and those believers
who could not enter Hondo participated the ceremony at Kyakuden.
